My name is Hanna and I recently retired after working many years in the healthcare field. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 38 years. During that time I came to realize that good health is a blessing not to be taken lightly.I saw firsthand the suffering and devastating effects that poor health can bring to individuals, families, and communities.
I also know that sometimes despite our best efforts we are challenged with sickness, disease and pain. However, in some cases we can prevent many of these disorders if we take steps to use the knowledge that we already have.
In my own life, I can testify that I could have done more beforehand to limit some of the health issues that I now face. However, I am glad that I was blessed to lose 115 pounds through much effort and sacrifice. I am so thankful that I have a reasonable amount of health, and strength, because of God’s grace and blessings.
I would like to share some of the lessons that I have learned with you, so that you can make informed choices about your health and welfare. This Blog is specifically being written to those who are “50 something”, and have either retired, or are moving toward retirement.
I am not a physician, therefore I am not giving you specific advice based on your particular situation. You are advised to discuss any changes to your diet, healthcare, or lifestyle with your physician.
Any information that I share with you will be based on my vast experiences gained over a lifetime. It is my hope that it will be a blessing to you.
In addition to health issues, I will be keeping you up to date on my retirement journey. Also note, that I will be adding Affiliate links or ads to my pages, as appropriate. Please feel free to check out these offers. I will be receiving a commission from them so I must let you know that. However, please use your own good judgement as you would in any given situation.
